It doesn't really work, it always gets ignored. The hungriest most honest salesman would not respond to that because he knows there is a shady salesman who would respond to that with a ridiculously low price and STILL try to bait and switch you anyway. <br />I respect what you're doing but this is just going to make sure you take away a chance to have a pleasant experience buying a car and turn it into a battle. Not all sales people are the same just like not all dogs are the same. <br /><br />Also, part of my job is to shop my competitors prices, and when I was new to the business (couple years ago) I would send this sort of email/fax out thinking it was good idea.
